"Air Pump 2000'' World's Best Sludge Pump for Mining. Tough, lightweight and very Durable. Our pumps are used extensively throughout the Hunter Valley coal mining industry. Our factory is situated in Newcastle, "Coal Mine Capital of Australia". We have developed our Air operated Dual Diaphragm FRAS pumps and Poly pumps to meet the demanding needs of the coal mining industry.
Our company operates differently to many other pump companies,in that we know our pumps are going to give long and reliable service (lasting as long as a year before needing service). This in many cases has increased mine profitability due to less downtime of equipment and greatly reduced EXPENSIVE servicing. Of course, as undestructible as they are, they DON'T like being run over by heavy plant and equipment! But if that does happen we do operate a very efficient repair service.
Air pumps 2000 are easy to get into and out of mines because they weigh as little as 19 kg - easily light enough for one man to carry. They require to work at peak efficiency 70 cfm of air at 100psi.
They can handle solids up to golf ball size or easily pump slurry up to about 70% thickness. They will give you a head of about 60 metres. If you need to lift higher than that you can set up pumps in series to lift to the surface or holding ponds. If you don't need lift but only distance, then you are only governed by the length of pipes you need to install. Our air 2000 pumps are 50mm diameter fitted with our own development of a flat slurry valve, giving reliable service and long life.
